What a nice day! Lovely breeze and I came home with two adorable silkie chicks. One blue and one splash.

Edited to add the new balls of feathers. I am not great on silkie colors so this blue might be gray.

But this one is a little splash and what a spit fire it is.

I had a wonderful time, thanks to the organizers. Oops, I had a camera with pictures of my injured roo, I should have taken pictures.

mmjaw, please thank your friend for bringing over the guineas. They were very quiet and calm on the way home, and yes, my remaining one is a female so I have 2 unnamed girls and "Pretty Boy Tom", the lilac male name after "pretty" Tom Cruise . I will do my best to make sure they don't try to return to her.

Chickenstock was amazing. A lot of fun! The next one needs to be down to the basics, bringing your own food and plain raffles. I do have a few pics I'll upload them at a later date. Wonderful day, thank you all!

Sorry, but didn't get or see anyone with eggs. My egg cartons were in my backseat and that was supposed to be my reminder to get eggs....oops!. I spent so much time gawking at all the critters, that I didn't get to meet many people by their BYC name. (I was wearing a red T-shirt)

I came early and left for a while then came back. Sorry again that I missed you.
I didn't have any critters to buy/sell/trade so wandered around mostly.
Wished we had name tags that we all could have worn! lol I hope that didn't create a problem for you.

What a nice day. my new little ones are doing great....2 sultans (boy I googled them and they grow up distinctive hah?) 2 mille fleurs (which I've wanted forever!) and one little blue silkie, who has the nicest dispostion!

Thanks to everyone who organized it! it was so nice meeting people from the board!

i met someone today (was it you forest nymph?) who referred to their hubby as Will power, made me laugh. i wondered, did you see that someone did eventually bring ducks?? i looked for you when the ducks arrived but I didn't see you.

Sylvia, phew... that is a relief. While I was wandering around a friend of mine sold some eggs to a lady. I hoped it wasn't you, as I had said I would bring you some. Sorry I missed you, we were under the tree behind the people with stones and dreamcatchers. But I didn't have any birds with me except the ones I bought.
