maine chickenstock!! pictures of the event!!

Hey, here are some of the photo's that I took.
I was pretty entertained most of the day and
did not get enough pics! I missed getting a pic
of the Horse Rescue food tent, and others
further down the road towards the gate.

Some of the people that were milling around

I'm glad that Donna won't see this pic, lol,
but she was able to sell 2 baskets and
wants to be invited to any shows. She loved
the people and the fact it was sunny, breezy
and no phone! lol!

We also had gems and crystals, you name
it and Michelle and her husband can probably
find it!!

The ladies that were selling Dream Catchers,
playing Indian drums over the radio. Guess
they didn't sell anything but it was a nice time!

Chinese Auction did pretty good. Thank you all
for the donations! The handmade baskets and
a water color of a horse (amazing work folks!!!)
along with the chicken bag filled with scratch!
OH, thank you for the "free" basket of scratch!!!
A lot of folks enjoyed that!

A little game I tried, was cute was "show me your chicken",
I had Mardigras beads, and for each chicken the kids
showed me, they recieved a string of beads! My buddy
Mario was the winner, every time I turned around he
was showing me a chicken! lol

Now that Grindelfamily managed quite the haul at the raffles! She managed to sneak her cutie patootie DD into place so she would draw moms ticket! lol, JK. Did your DH like those eggs?
By the time we got around to it, everyone was a winner.
So thank you all for making it a great day!
I am very slow moving today, wow....Hey did anyone get some of that Jam that Frozen Feathers was selling? OMG it is WONDERFUL. Wow, if you didn't, you missed a big deal!
Frozen Feathers, add a teaspoon of that onto yogurt , holy cow is that amazing!

Barter, Horsegirl did end up taking the Brabanters and a nic older man took the Russian Orloff. Not sure if he's on the net or not, but gave him your contact info anyway.

In all fairness, Spook, I didn't have a table set up for my Jam, and I really didn't stay by my car either.

Gave some to Wendy, Meg and you and took home the rest for Christmas presents.

Glad you enjoyed it!! I'm investing a blueberry rake for next year, though!! I did try to make a few homemade blueberry rakes, they seemed to work okay, but I was picking them by hand faster.

i did spook, but i dont know who it was from or who won it, but it was nice!

now, if it was a chicken i would have tried to win it!! lol it was very nice.

You know, someone emailed me mentioning that at one gathering (someplace- I am so bad with stuff) 1/2 way through the event, a few kids would come around to everyone, ask for 1 chick(en)or what they are selling for the raffle at the end of the day.
That could be something to look into the next Maine Chickenstock, like you said chickn...if it was only a chicken! LOL.
