There is a trio of geese on Craiglist that was listed today. Based on memory they were $65 for the three and were about four months old. I think they were located near Lewiston.

I was hoping for something younger, and I emailed someone who had posted on Craiglist some goslings. Hopefully I'll hear back. Had some bad luck a year ago getting mites from birds at a swap. I'm hoping younger birds will be less likely to be infested.

It's not a problem of trespassers getting into my coop... yet. They've been seen exiting my property twice this week toting BB guns while I was at work. I hope they were not shooting at my birds, but there's not much else for them to shoot at besides my house.

I am mad beyond belief. The cops won't do anything because my property wasn't POSTED. What kind of a society do we live in?!!!

SCG- get yourself a game camera and set up for when you leave pointing in the direction you would mostly likely see these people on your property. then you should know what's going on.

I'm looking forward to the Wilton Swap and the Basket Show thus coming Sunday.

I'm not going to sell or show birds, but I plan to attend and search for birds to buy.

Also, to let you in on the goings on in my area, Oxford Tractor Supply is having a "Pet day" and have been asked to bring a few birds to share along with giving a Poultry Care Clinic. These are such fun!

We are gearing up for the Oxford Chickenstock next weekend, 8/13 from 8am - 2 pm and we will be permitting yard sale items along with critters! Hope that this goes well, its a first for us and this trial run for our season Finale!
