Maine Swaps 2011

I probably will hold off until the augusta swap where it's closer to me and everything I have will be older.
but anyone is welcome to buy and I will hold it until then.
you didn't have the augusta swaps because we planned those out today. originally I had them all for sunday but the store manager decided saturday was a busier day. I wanted sunday so those that work could make that day.

Still interested in those cages, hopefully we can meet at the next augusta swap.

Any idea what 4-H group is going to be there and what they will be doing? That is normally an area that our group would be involved in and I haven't heard anything about it

He didn't say which group. I know there is a horse group in Topsham and a group in Harpswell as well (not sure what they specialize in though). I had just contacted UME extention the other day for information about 4H's in this area because no one seems to know anything about it. (That's how I found out about the two listed above).
What does your 4H do?

We are mostly horses, but there is one young girl that does a lot of rabbit stuff I think, but as a club we generally don't do much other than horses. We meet at the lisbon falls extension office but we also hold some things in topsham, litchfield, bowdoin, etc. Are look looking for a group that specializes in something in particular?

Looking forward to meeting & seeing everyone again. I sincerely hope that all events do exceptionally well this year! I have found through my various events, it brings us closer to the farms, regardless to size, what they raise and where to find them. Its fun talking with people who have such knowledge!

I believe I've mentioned that we have 1 standard Cochin roo & hen. 1 Barred rock. 1 bantam Cochin rooster. Also, Scooter & his ladies may make a public appearance! We shall be there at 7:30 am! See you there!

Good luck everyone!

Lewiston Swap TSC I think was a great success, as soon as I got there, I didn't even get a chance to set anything up and I sold 5 PQ Silkies and 5 Buff Orpington Chicks! The weather also co-operated, NO WIND AND NO RAIN!
