@buckabucka how long did it take your bushes to yield fruit?
Some of the bushes have only been there for only 2 years, and those bushes just get a handful of berries. Other bushes have been transplanted there after barely surviving years of neglect (bad soil, crazy weeds). The older bushes were small when we transplanted them, but took off with the correct soil and some light. They are the plants with the heaviest fruit load.

We are about to head off to see the full solar eclipse! Seems crazy, but DH is set on it, and I'm on vacation, so off I go!
 
Sounds like a really nice opportunity, Bucka. I'm off to the graveyard, have a date with Lois. Goal is to have her cleaned and reset by tomorrow evening.

I have 2 huge apple trees on my property. I know they are in serious need of being pruned. Planned to do that this fall. Now I am going to be recovering from double hernia surgery around that time.
One of my black Australorp has started laying. Got 5 eggs today.
