Maine

In desperate need of rehoming this boy to a good home. This is Birch. He is about a year old, and a good boy. A good protector. Gentle, and easy going. I can't keep him because I don't have enough hens for 2 boys, and they will fight. In order to keep them all safe, we need to rehome 1. We are in the Presque Isle area, and willing to travel a reasonable distance. Thanks for the help. We need to rehome asap.

Birch has found a forever home, with good people, and plenty ladies. I wish him well, and am heartbroken about it. It is best for him, so what I want, is irrelevant. Thanks all for the help

Along the same lines, if anyone in the Central Maine area has a Welsh Harlequin drake they need to rehome, let me know. I lost my beloved drake, Edgar, last July and think I'm finally ready to get another one. I've thought about getting more ducklings, but I am pretty happy with the four ladies I have now. Just would like to give another drake a good home if I can!

Does anyone know when chicks age out of the sales law in Maine? I can't seem to find any info on it for some reason, and I know that you're supposed to sell chicks 2 at a time until they're a certain age... I just can't remember what that age is.

I have a golden Sea right, that needs a home. It was a "surprise" chicken in our last group of chicks. I would love to keep her/him but, I have larger birds, mostly, and am afraid it isn't going to be able to mix in due to size. My smalller birds are older, and I don't want more.bIt is free, and must go asap. I had success getting my roo re-homed here, and I am hoping to do.it again. I am in the northern area of Maine, and I can travel a bit. Reasonable distance. Please, reach out if interested.
