I can supply eggs, which school? I have a kid in every windham school right now...I am not taking the chicks back though....

Okay, I want to know who put up the sign on rt 25. in Gorham. It's on the route to and from school for me and it is all too appealing to want all of the babies!

Not sure which school off the top of my head. I can find out tomorrow. If you can supply the eggs that would be great.

Don't worry about taking the chicks back. I know my co-worker is willing to find the proper homes for any that hatch.

I drive Rt 25 every day but I'm on the Standish end. Well I do drive on it in Gorham on the weekends but only as far as the roundabout. But still I am not involved. What are they advertising?

The horses' water tanks are finally ice free. No more lugging buckets of water out to them every day. And their turnout is semi-dry with only a few patches of yucky mud. And my hard keeper gelding has gained about 50 lbs. I like another 50 lbs on him before I even think of riding but it is so nice that he is gaining weight.
Now I just have to wait for the snow to melt in the goats' pen. Funny how half my yard is snow free and the other half still covered by a few inches. And the chicken/duck pen is still under a few inches of snow in spots.

My duck pen is half ice, and half a horrible poop/mud mixture. They're loving it though, finally able to dig holes. It's nice to also be able to use the hose outside and not have to haul water from inside the house. Hooray for spring.
