I've never had one with sour crop, Mckenney, but if you confirm that diagnosis, there is a thread about curing sour crop with Monistat.

I've been so frustrated watching the hatch going on in a neighboring classroom. The humidity in the incubator is 88%. Fifteen chicks have hatched, but none have fluffed up, and the whole operation is giving off a foul odor. The guy came and put a chick feeder and water in the incubator (it is a large homemade one), and I'm afraid the feed will mold with all that water dripping on it.
I told the teacher to call the guy and tell him to come do something. I would bring in a heat lamp myself and set the chicks in a box to dry off, but they are not mine, and I'm trying not to interfere (other than by insisting the teacher call this guy). His plan was to come pick them up on Friday, but I think they will all be dead by then.
