It gets lots of attention from us too. I cant find my hand mirror. I am hoping the extra egg I put in hatches today, but it pipped early in the wrong end in two different places, and there was a pink tinge to the membrane. I upped the humidity and am watching it. It hasn't completed drawdown yet so I'm hoping it will be fine. Those early pips are usually the last to hatch if they make it. It is making alot of loud noise and the egg is just rocking. It started that days ago so I think it is too big for the egg. I will PM you if I need one thank you!
Plus with chickens that are easy for you to tell apart you will find it easier to observe individual behavior, notice any problems, and give them names

I asked the girl at the register about it...where they would set this up in the store. She didn't know. I told her that I thought the swaps would start in April.
She said this one was set up by "Corporate" and that the home office has no idea what the weather is like here.
