Maine

Hey all. Still looking for olive eggers and/ or black copper marins. I am not exactly set up for chicks yet but I guess I could figure it out in a pinch. I would prefer older pullets. But at this point beggers can't be choosers. Would love a black Marin roo. Anyone have anything they may be willing to part with please please please lemme know!! I live just outside of Lewiston. Thanks everyone!!

I love coming on here and seeing how active our thread is!

I finally cracked and bought some lf cochin eggs on ebay. I was havingthe hardest time tracking some down locally because our schedule is INSANE and just when I thought it was going to calm down, my girls signed up for spring sports! So I ordered some. Easy enough since I work from home so I will be here to accept the package. Its just weekends that get us.

Anyway, if you guys find these great deals on dog houses in the windham area, let me know! I am trying to bring home a trio of my favorite breed, but need a seperate shelter for them for therest of the winter.

How many of yiu guys are going to the first augusta swap? Its the sameday as my daughters surprise party, but I think I could do both...

He is going to be soooo mad when he sees the extra 15 eggs. I am going to KVCC. I figured now that my youngest is in pre-k, I needed to go back to school. I graduated in 2000, so I guess better late than never?

I graduated in 2003...and took a long and winding road...and am finally going to graduate...well, next year! Better late than never is right....I think later can be better, actually, because I don't know about you, but I am a lot more serious about school now that I was right after I graduated high school.

I was in the Navy for almost 9 years, then a stay at home mommy, now a mommy/wife/student. I am far more serious about school now than if I would have gone after high school.

Hi to you. I spent my first 8 years in Gray on a beautiful farm. We had sheep, chickens, horses. It was an incredible place to spend a childhood. I spent my summers with a hammer, cracking black walnut shells on an old granite well curb. And when I wasn't eating nuts, there were lots of berries to be had, a brook with a sand bar, a turtle pen, a climbing cliff with an old gnarled pine tree that you could step out onto from the top of the cliff. Oh how I hated to leave that farm!!!
I have never been there but now I want to go back there too!! Heck, that sounds fantastic!!!

All this talk about dates and graduating has me feeling dated.

I am at the point of chewing nails with this bator. I drilled a few more air holes because I had to have something to do. I am not a good stand and wait kind of person. I plan to take a few out of the turner tomorrow. Now, question... what if you took one out four days ahead or only two?? What happens if you leave it in the turner?
