I had a small surprise. I conceded defeat to my lethargy and tried taking a nap. When I made one of my 'checks' I found it pouring outside and I had small birds in an outside brooder. Well, that was the end of that nap. In they came to be dried by towels, paper and machine. Phew.
Wow good to know! I will check out the locator to see if there is a place closer then Longhorn, if not I will be calling them to order some food!cyndischicks: Green Mountain Feeds (www.greenmountainfeeds.com) is also the #1 organic food recommended by MOFGA. Awesome pictures!!Some more pictures of the progress I've made. Of course, with the rain I've been stuck indoors. That's okay. The beauty is in the details, right?
My wood burned plaque of the Golden Girls for the front of the coop beside the door.
The front door, view from the inside. I'll be honest, the back door is not nearly as fancy since I'm the only one who sees it. The outside of the door has a mini door knob and it's painted to look like a paneled door.
The close up by the waterer looks like it could be a roo.Well I'm getting pretty excited, the girls will hopefully be moving this weekend from the dining room into their new house!! That is if we can get the metal roof on there in between the rain drops! Below is a picture of their new dwelling almost done and some of my girls!
I think I have a couple of roosters not sure since I have never had these before!
