Maine

Hi i live in rumford maine and im looking for fertile hatching eggs for my incubator must be close to me i will travle up to an hour away if its a good deal

I wish you the best of luck. Do you have anything specific in mind, or are mutt eggs ok for you? I can't help you, but if you are a bit more specific about what type of eggs you want, that might be helpful. If you're not particular, you might just try driving around out in the rural areas and check out the local BYF folks who are selling fresh eggs. An other option that might score you some cheap mutt eggs might be your local farmer's market. Otherwise, you could go to the Buy-sell-trade thread and have some eggs shipped. I'm just throwing out some general ideas here!

The hatching bug is in the air!!! Spring must not be far behind it!!!

No baby yet! To answer a previous question, the 5 grand daughters are spread out in 3 families. My 2 daughters each have one- so far. My son has 2 girls -so far. There Will be a girl born one way another today. My son's third child is due April 7. This could be a boy. They aren't saying! Fun times! I love babies.

Thanks Jazor. I'm inquiring for a reader in KY. Surely, someone out there has a goose berry! I grew up with 2 bushes in Gray Maine, so, I'm sure that they survive in the area, but they're just not popular.

Good afternoon,

I wish spring would hurry up and get here! Ok, enough complaining.

So, I was dreaming about starting my garden. What seeds do you direct sow as soon as the ground can be worked? I am usually a little late in this process but this year I want to be right on time!

I was thinking of parsley, cilantro, poppies, what else? I hope to be organized this year and make a calendar to semi-follow. Oh, what are some of your favorites, perennial herbs?,

Thanks!

p.s. Chicken related, my chickens are sick of the cold. Oh, and we got rid of the RIR rooster! Yay! Now the barred rock Roo is being a B*s***d!

Nope. You can complain all you want. Anything over 80 is too hot and anything under 20 is too cold. So if the temperature is outside that range complaining is allowed.
