Aww! I'd love to add ducks, geese, gosh all of them! The sun is shining a bit here. The chicks are happy in the big girl coop now!

I'm anxiously awaiting my chicks. They shipped yesterday, and I think they'll be here tomorrow morning. Keeping my fingers crossed for lots of healthy babies.

Layers from Meyer. The list is in my signature, but there are Wyandottes, Cochins, EE's, and Welsummers, to name a few. We have 11 ordered.

I'm busying myself with the garden today, while I wait. Yesterday I put together a big batch of Mel's Mix and was too blistered afterward to actually fill the beds.

And then they surprised me by calling today, from Augusta! All here and all healthy-looking.
Now to figure out who is who.

So cute!!!!! I would love guineas but am nervous as I am already worried about my noisy roo. Ticks are awful here already

Flock was happy today. While DH and DD worked outside today they over turned some logs and rocks. Girls were happy chasing lots of ants and worms! My DD was a little upset about eating a salamander whole! Love spring!!!

LOL!!!!!!! I seriously laughed so hard the kids wanted to know what was so funny. DD said its the chicken Facebook page!!!! Hahahaha... I can't even get her to eat veggies! !!!
