With a nuclear bomb
I'd just end up with mutant rats then...
This guy might be. It's huge- probably will measure at least 18 inches including the tail. I've tried to get a picture. But I can't, It is FAST! The jack russell terrier couldn't even catch it, and that dog can run.I'd just end up with mutant rats then...
Welcome Neighbor! I'm in Winterport. We travel through Etna when we go to camp in Stetson. Love to kayak on that lake.Hi all!I'm from etna maine!how is everybody?![]()
Any trap you put out for rats needs to be pegged down. You should do same with live traps for coons. I caught one coon in a trap that we had to extend b/c the coon was so big that he'd go in, trip it and be able to back out b/c his hiney kept the door from tripping shut. He rolled it 30' down the lawn before he shredded the 1/2" hdw cloth we'd used to extend it. Don't let anyone tell you that hdw cloth is pred proof. It is much better than chicken wire, but a serious pred will tear through it.This guy might be. It's huge- probably will measure at least 18 inches including the tail. I've tried to get a picture. I'll try the glue traps- that's what I need to anchor into the ground, right? Thank you for that tip!

are use those traps at my camp up in Pittsburgh much easier to set but we've only ever caught mice and that's a giant ratI know I'm not the only one with rat issues on this thread... with poison being out of the question around my animals, snap traps and the hav-a-hart being useless, and those ******** being too fast for me and my 22... I upgraded to some of the fancy new traps I came across online. In the last 24 hours i've nailed 4 of the ******** with Tomcat traps. They even held on to this monster I got who managed to get it across the barn with it around his neck. They're about the same $ as the old timer traps on Amazon but actually effective without breaking your fingers. All told i've killed 6 adult rats in the last 4 days, much quieter in there now.![]()
