Ok 2 things

First we got this cute little egg today, not sure what one of the girls though. Do you think there is anything to it...

Second one of the Eastereggers we got from my aunt has had soft mucusie poo, though it was just from her molting and transition to our place, today noticed this with her, kind of bloody one. Any thoughts
I'd keep an eye on her, and see if there are any more. It's so very easy to jump the gun, and treat at any little sign. If she's acting fine, go with that. Case in point: Last summer, I was culling my flock, and had a sweet BYC lady from this thread scheduled to come and pick up some of my birds. The very morning she was due to show up, I noticed several poos exactly like the one in your pic in my grow out pen. FREAK OUT!!! So, I called her, explained that this is what I found, had not seen anything prior to this date, and the birds were all acting well. She opted to come anyways, took her birds, and we both decided to take a watch and wait approach. Long story short: no issues, no illness. Simply some shed intestinal lining.

I'm a huge HUGE fan and advocate of fermented feed. My hatch was a stressful one this spring due to poor temp control. So, there were chick issues. Frothy foamy poop (yellow/brown) from a couple of chicks. Chicks acting fine. I had delayed starting the FF, but as soon as I did, within 48 hours, their poo was the kind of poo any chick Mama would be proud of.

Anyone looking for a BCM rooster? I took in a "rescue" last year. Poor guy was nearly bald, bleeding, and covered in bugs. It's taken forever, but he's finally good to go. I am over loaded with roosters and the weather is starting to turn. He's currently in a chicken tractor and really needs to be moved to a coop for winter. He's finishing up his molt and looking beautiful. I'd guess he's about 2 or 3 years old and throws gorgeous babies that look like little bear cubs. "Baboon" is free to a good home.

lazy gardener, I am with you on not jumping the gun and treating for no real reason that just lets the bad thing get use to the med and then meds not working, Now for my Update, I have been keeping an eye on my hen she seems fine, no other signs of bloody stool. Being new to this BYC thing I did not know they some times shed intestinal lining. I have heard of FF before and will look in to it when I have more time on my hands.

For those with rat problems have you tried a rat satire ? Supposedly it works better if it is an original composition.

For those who are not familiar with this it comes from the show Outlander.

Anyone want to sell me some fertile large fowl mutt eggs in about a month? Also anyone have fertile pekin eggs?
I have some. Though Jack has been missing the mark some. My flock is sired by EE. He produces a nice colorful egg basket. Rest of gene pool is made up of: Second and third generation Dominique, Pioneer, Rose Comb Brown Leghorn, PBR, Addition of Ameraucana and some mystery birds this spring.

Could I get 8 eggs in about a month? Are yours slowing down at all?

I also have fertile eggs, but I am not sure what kind of quantities I'll be getting in a month. Mine have slowed way down, 2-5 eggs per day from 48 hens. I'll have to check the fertility, but mostly I am getting AustraWhite eggs (Olive egger rooster), and GCM eggs (which are pure).
