I'm trying to find a good picture of my sister's cat who just passed to ask you to make/sell me a pendant. She would love it, but I'm having trouble finding one with good contrast.

maybe just ask her for one. I've always hated doing that but I found the owners usually have a great picture.

I did and she sent me a few, but the cat was a light gray and the pictures just don't have enough contrast. Maybe there is something you can work with.

I actually came on here to ask my Southern Maine Chicken Friends who they would recommend for a chicken vet. I have 2 equine vets, however they do not do small farm animals. I would like to get my flock tested and have a good vet on hand if needed. Any recommendations? Also, does anyone know what the cost is per bird for testing? Thanks In advance.

Not sure if he sees chickens at his practice but I do know that Dr. Carr in North Windham is a good avian vet. He is very familiar with parrots and other pet birds.

at last check, dr carr was not taking any new bird clients and some old ones he was no longer seeing. there are testers in the state, I had austin brann test mine- $10 for any number of birds. he can test them at his place (he prefers) or he also tests at our poultry meetings (this sunday in washington at the eastern star grange hall)- pmme for his phone number. you'll need to have a certain % of your flock done- anmd usually the first time, it's all birds over 1 yr.

Thanks for the info Hoppy. Where does he live? I may have an issue getting ALL of my birds there. My car won't hold many carriers, spose I could rent a Uhaul.
