Another thing with battery-powered electronics is that sometimes, the older they are, the faster the battery runs down. The battery loses its ability to hold a charge for long periods.
Not sure how it words for phones, though.

supposedly using aftermarket chargers can kill the battery

There is an app for BYC but from what I understand the Apple version of the app has a few more issues than the Android version that I have has.
your phone is pretty old so it might be kind of ghetto on your phone I do not recommend you downloading the app.

the app works fine on 6plus as long as it’s updated. I still use the app on mine when in bed

Speaking of phones.... my contract is apparently up in March! I think I will keep mine though this time but I’m not sure. The 12 pro max is supposed to have an amazing camera but I hate that there’s no home buttons on them now. also super duper expensive. I also love the Pixel’s too now (y’all have sold me ) but I don’t like Google anymore. Might go back to a Galaxy too thanks to Mare but idk. Mine works fine though so I’m probably gonna keep it instead of upgrading for once but it probably won’t work for long. it’s an 8 Plus.

i went to the 11pro from the 6plus.....getting used to the no button thing is frustrating at first. i wouldn’t have upgraded, but 6 plus battery wouldn’t hold a charge anymore. otherwise it works fine, so i still use it in bed for my books and byc. there it can stay on a charger though.

swiping the screen there’s a little bar at the bottom to close current app and then if you swipe diagonally from bottom left, it will give you all open apps to shut down
