A lot of business's give people time off to vote.
My dh was going to close the office early so that everyone could get back "home" in time to vote. Well him mostly, since the polls close at what? 7pm? He doesnt usually get in until 8.
And there are other voting options, like mail in absentee voting. Which dh was going to do but forgot and didnt get the info in time.
When I walked into my office this morning the first words out of one of the guys mouths was "Did you vote already?" They were letting people go early, even us 3 part timers so that we would be able to get to the polls.
I think this time around people are standing up more for their RIGHT to Vote. People are talking about it more. Companies, large and small and bosses are hearing them. It's a good thing.
