Easter eggers can't really have good genes or poor genes as they're all mutts.I find it ugly and bad for ease of grooming, genetics and more, especially since it’s dominant and often shows poor EE genes.
One of my EEs thinks he's a Game cock, but hopefully he grows out of it. I believe he turns 1yr in March.Easter eggers can't really have good genes or poor genes as they're all mutts.
May be true with Meyer's, but not with MPC or Cackle, as they sell them both separately, and the Ams in defined colors.False when it comes ti most hatcheries. Most hatchery “Ameraucanas“ are Easter Eggers - mutts.
Meyer's has Black, Blue, Splash Ameraucanas separate from their EEs.
Why'd you decide to quit the project? Is it to complicated? If so I can help you figure out a new project, or you can also work on a couple I have going on?I decided to quit the project. Right now I’m getting good profit out of sex linked ameraucana pullets (black ameraucana over maran). I’ve gotten $50 for 2, 3 month olds and a 2 week old.
Okay. Any other project of your interest?Well I’m getting a profit on just ameraucana mixes and hopefully I’ll start selling ameraucanas too. Plus I have doctors appointments at least 3 days a week, plus school so I’m too busy. I may start a project after spring.
Get them really good and I might just have to buy some eggs off you.Terrible but once I breed him they should be better. The camera makes them pink but they really are not that pink. They are grey with some blue spots. His comb isn’t too ugly.View attachment 2530038View attachment 2530041View attachment 2530043
I’d be happy to. I’m planning for good leg color in a year. I’m excited to see the outcome of them.Get them really good and I might just have to buy some eggs off you.
