Making hen go broody

Welcome to BYC!
Even Hens who are prone to broody behavior, do not go broody just because you leave a pile of eggs in the nest. Why not get some chicks, and make a broader inside the coop, so that she can see them as they grow? By the time they are old enough to release from the broader, she will be used to them. It will give her company having them near her.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Remove the real eggs. Keep the fake eggs and cross your fingers. That's about all you can do and it's not likely to result in a broody hen. It is a hormonal condition. You cannot make them go broody and they never do it on your schedule.
