Making the most of it.

Much better, had a bad start to the week when I scratched an eyeball and the next day the rocks came loose in my head.  Got the rocks back into place and the eyeball is better, so it's all good now.

Scored 24 feet of 6' cedar fencing the neighbors were replacing that got burned at the bottom from a grass fire - so free wood.   :yesss:

Score!!! Sorry that you were having a rough start....

Ran Vinnie to his appointment just to find out I had the wrong time written down. I think if I do quail eggs again I will try some locally grown ones.

this is a fibro bird. They are black from head to toe, inside and out

Ohhhhhhh I want!!! I want I want!!!!!

yes this one is a cemani from greenfire farms. I have eggs from several different breeds of fibro birds most are cross bred with each other tho there is potential for me to have a few like this as I have several eggs that are straight bred as well.

Will you be able to tell the difference between the crosses and the non-crosses?

DH and I agreed on a dozen chickens, I now have 9 adults, 10 growing out from Valentine's Day hatch and 7 growing out from Easter.

Don't need more chickens - I don't have the space and don't want the feed bill.

They are also quite pricey just for yard candy. :gig

Maybe you could buy the eggs (so you get the satisfaction of buying them) and send them to Linda (so she gets the satisfaction of owning yard candy)
