Making the most of it.

DH and I agreed on a dozen chickens, I now have 9 adults, 10 growing out from Valentine's Day hatch and 7 growing out from Easter.

Don't need more chickens - I don't have the space and don't want the feed bill.

They are also quite pricey just for yard candy.

I know... I have the same issue going on here. Only have space for a couple more and I can't make up my mind what I want.

It is and I want eye candy for the last few.. And one that lays a different colored egg.

The 5 mutts I bought for the wife are suppose to be for different colored eggs but than again I don't have the same space issue you do

My problem would be sufficient housing cause I would have to build more coop and runs. I've got the property but that's about all.

At the beginning, she wanted $30 an egg. A bit pricey to risk scrambling in shipping

I do have a bunch of mixed eggs- Orloff Legbar and Orloff EE I could send. The Legbar mixes are adorable and should lay green eggs.

Ohhhh I can't bring myself to spend 30 bucks an egg... No way. Green eggs would be awesome!!!
