I love jersey Giants. One of my favorite birds. Such great temperaments and huge eggs!

Or is fibro short for something else

fibromelanistic. Covers the all black birds in general, there are several species. Even silkie have the fibro mutation. It seems that the cemani and svart hona are the most extreme of them.

Pretty good, actually. Waiting for it to warm up a bit 'fore I go out & work on dismantling an old coop (6 months) to replace it with a better one.

Much better, had a bad start to the week when I scratched an eyeball and the next day the rocks came loose in my head. Got the rocks back into place and the eyeball is better, so it's all good now.

Scored 24 feet of 6' cedar fencing the neighbors were replacing that got burned at the bottom from a grass fire - so free wood.

Works for me! I burn a bit of Cedar; smells good & grows like weeds here....them & locust
