Good morning, btw!!!
Yeah, uh huh...Good MorningDon't worry about the heat, whites. The Mariners will bring it Tuesday!!!!
Wow - a girl goes away for a few days and ya'll turn into some Chatty Cathy's!! Gonna take a bit to try to catch up (and this is the slower of the threads I hang out in ---) Made it home safe and yesterday evening, spent some time with DH and DS and then shipped them both off to work/school this morning, hit the grocery store to restock and am currently waiting for Animal Control to show up to pick up a cat (funny story there) - working on some catch up work around here (though I have to say, the boys did a good job on chores while I was gone) and hopefully can get all caught up around BYC too. Now, off to see what you've all been up to in the last several pages......
Morning mare!!! Hope you are still loving your job!!!
BLECH - and it sounds like it's really hanging on. Hope you get some rest and recovery time so you can kick it.I got the crud... Coughing coughing and more coughing. Miserable. I hate being sick.
Sorry they don't have an emoji of pushing somebody away with a stick![]()
He ended up having bone cancer in it. Could have had the leg removed and than had a three legged dog but when we found out about the cancer we also found out he was getting hip dysplasia. So removing the one leg only would have prolonged his agony. At the time my son was just starting to learn to crawl around and loved getting on the dog, the dog didn't like it much and couldn't get up and out of the way fast enough. We could tell he was hurting so we had him put down on April 1st.
We always had cats when I was growing up. The last cat I had I turned it into an attack cat. It was awesome.
I don't know if I told you guys but when we moved the fish, one of them didn't make it. So today I got myself a new buddy!!! A little Jack Dempsey fish!!!!!
Well said, Friday! Isn't that just how it goes sometimes?Sounds like you just did a different to do list then the one you planned on!
For us water logged Washingtonians it is. No one has ac here.
Congratulations!!!Actually, she's another greatgrandaughter, 'though we inherited the 1st one; son married a previously married woman with twin daughters, one of which had a daughter of her own a few years ago, so no blood relation.
This one was actually born @ 11:57 last night, so she missed sharing a birthday with your son, but she does share it with one of my grandsons.
And Thank You.
It *is* cold -- I spent the last several days WAY down in the southern most part of Mississippi where it was PLENTY warm.....came home last night to a frost warningCold weather? It's at least 39* out there.
Woot. Welcome back. Looking forward to hearing the story.
Oh my garsh that is crazy!!! Hopefully mojos look alike will find a home. Did you get beaten up in the mix?AC just came and got him - and, best part, thinks he already has somebody in mind to take him if he isn't claimed in the requisite waiting time. So, this morning DH came in from the back porch and says, "You need to come look at Mojo - something is wrong with this cat." I go outside, see the cat and immediately notice a bite mark on the side of his neck, so at that point I wasn't paying attention to anything else but getting my hands on the cat and seeing what else I could find that was wrong. I picked him up and he lost his mind - up and over my head and down the back to get away.....definitely NOT like Mojo. He started meowing, jumped up on the table outside and climbed around on EVERYTHING - none of which are things Mojo would normally do so I look at DH and say, "You're right, something is DEFINITELY wrong". I walked towards the back door, cat jumps down and follows me but when we get to the door he freaks out and refuses to step foot inside. I reached down, got a GOOD hold on him and carried him in - cat did NOT like being inside, hit full on panic mode, Ziva (GSD) joins in the chaos which did NOT help - so I ended up opening the door and taking him back outside. At this point I tell DH I'll just go get my first aid box, doctor him up outside where he was more comfortable and then after I took DH and DS to town I'd work on sorting things out to get him back in the house and figure things out. DS comes out of his room as I'm grabbing the box and asks what I'm doing - so I tell him I need to go out and doctor Mojo, at which point DS gives me the weirdest look and says, "Mojo is on my bed"--- I follow DS to his room and, sure enough, there is Mojo, curled up and snoozing away on DS's bed. I go back to the back door and there sits a black and white cat that looks SO much like Mojo.........no wonder the poor thing was panicked when I carried it into our house -- or why Ziva came at me like there was an intruder in the house while I was holding it. Other than a TINY bit of white on the other cat's back these two were dead ringers for each other, down to the way the white is shaped on their face and a black spot on one back leg, in my rush to see what was wrong with "Mojo" and having zoned in right away on the bite mark on the neck it just never occurred to me it wasn't my cat
