Making the most of it.

Edible contest first entry done.. didnt come out how I wanted it to but I got anxious and wanted to get it posted before the kids came home and destroyed it.

WELL DONE!!!! sweetness!!!

Well I got my Lightobator up and running.. I put it under the Tortoisemansion... lets see if I can maintain the temperatures for a few days before I go and pick up the quail eggs.... SO two items on the list got done... better than nothing.....

Oh and I bought three packets of seed today. I got a zucchini, yellow squash and kale. I will hang my grow light tomorrow and see if I can start them in egg trays. Gonna make Chinese food for the family. My feet hurt today. I think to much weird running around. So I am gonna take it easy for the rest of the night. Bator up, got to give it a few days to see if I can keep it stable and then hopefully go get my precious quail eggs. I really cant wait, but I want to do it right. Have a good one folks.

If you have time to look, it started with bare spots under her wings and now has grown to her back and I dont know if you can see that weird bump in one of the pictures.... Can you please take a look and see if you have any advice for me. @casportpony

If she, being the only one in my free range flock has lice.. I am going to bury my head. Oyyyyyy. I can do this. @attimus thoughts on it... one bird of nine that have this.

Well, there seems to be no shortage to bad luck. I can do this. I know I can.

If it's lice, isolate and dust with de.
I have a spray at home I can't remember the name of, post it when I'm off. Clean all the bedding out of the main coop and dust corners and cracks with de, replace with fresh bedding. Check and dust all chickens in your flock. How big are Jerry's spurs. They might be adding to the damage as well.

Kinda looked like rooster damage to me, but I don't really know enough to say.
