Aart. Can you still eat the eggs when you dust the birds with the medicine?

Thank you. I was going to get some and dust them just in case my eye balls dont work so well.

I didnt think about that... I keep checking those hens and I really dont see anything but scaring from the pin feathers being gone.. I didnt see mites last night and I did the paper towl trick. maybe its a mix of molt and over breeding... I looked at all the feather bases on the neck and vent and underbelly, where she still has feathers... except for a little poopy butt, I dont see anything.

The pics showed the staff of the feathers and showed no sign of lice. Red mites would be what I would look for. What is your rooster to hen ratio? You may need to crate her until she heals, or crate the rooster(s).

One rooster to 8 hens.. he seems to favor the less aggressive though.. the two astrolorps and the giant with the issues.. the other girls dont have a bare spot.

That's the oil gland, perfectly normal.
