hahahaha, I am sea level!! I thought you were mountain range. and yes... I said sea level in Washington state.. hahahaha.. 200 at the most.
 
It's probably been mentioned several times already, somewhere, but what concessions do you have to make for high altitude?

Eggshells are adapted to hatch at the altitude they were laid at. So unfortunately when they come up in altitude, there is reduced gas exchange and a much poorer hatch rate. You just have to really watch the air cells and I keep the vents open. Best thing would be to pipe in oxygen but that's above and beyond most people's capabilities.

Since I'm at 5,000 feet and she lives at 7,000 feet, we're hoping to get one or two more than she usually would. But shipping damage + altitude change is tough no matter what you do. I have a good incubator - I'm just letting it do it's job.
