They are about 2 1/2 months old now.. in that picture he is probably about 1 1/2 months I think. His sisters are colored very similarly but with a little more white.

Awwwww... (sleepy pic) He LOVES his momma!! I tell ya that lil' boy is rotten!! We were looking at his pic's from when we first got him 7/03/10 and his lil tail feathers have grown about 2" already!! He looks so big till we take him outside around the BIG chickens. He is solid but weighs just nothin much at all. His latest antic's have been playing "Momma's gonna get me!!!" He stands SO pretty on the headboard, looking out the window at the 'big girls' outside. Then he'll wait for an opening and jump down on the bed and RUN like a mad-man all over the place..stop and look at Ellen then off running again, stop and look...wait for her to try and get him...runs again!! If she reaches for him he'll jump her hands and take off to me...of course I don't encourage him at all (with squeals of "hurry DaVinci, momma's gonna get you.. hurry hurry!!"). He runs up right onto my lap and hides in my hands!! Turns and looks at her like 'na na you didn't get me!!!"
So thats his new game... and he LOVES it!!
The girls 'Sandy & Mandy' Sandy is going through a 'don't touch me' stage, they both are just sweet as can be and will lay down as soon as we get them out, not too much interested in nosing around, they just want to set there and be loved on. They are not interested in much in DaVinci's courting and scold him often lol I really don't think he cares much tho' lol
I'll try and get some more pic's today of everyone. I take pic's with my phone and send to my email so sometimes it takes a bit (durn email)

This is a cockerel I picked up from missouri a while back, it was supposed to be a pullet, lol. He is gonna be a Type C (still gotta get a scale) But he has the best attitude you could ask for. And I think he is a gorgeous bird. His tail was real ratty when we got him, but it has started coming in nicely. I will probably put him with a small smooth feathered pullet I have, seeing as how they neither breed true to color or size, never know what you will get til you try.
This is pearl, she came from a lady down here south of us. Her parents were both smooth feathered. What are the odds? She is not nearly as big as she looks in that photo...

I know, I know they are just pet quality...but we dont plan on showing, so they are just pegs...but we are also gonna try to improve type somewhat with that black/white cockerel and a few more hens we plan on pickin up, but at the end of the day, we have them for our enjoyment and fun....not for ribbons...

So here's a picture of my little guy, he is between 8 & 9 weeks now. Not too bad for his is first time away from his buddies, jmo. He will probably be for sale as I don't have a need for a little cockerel at the moment.
Hello! I have decided to start Malaysian Seramas, at this point in time, I have 10 eggs with babies(they are 4 days old). Is there anything I should know about them? How much do they differ from bantams?
