Mine started laying at about 4-5 months old and everyday for about 10-12 days then they go broody

I've got 5 hens laying. They started laying around 5 months, and are 8 months old now. I've been picking 3-5 eggs per day pretty much since they've started laying, with a couple of off days here and there. They're very good layers, and I haven't had one go broody yet.

Ok I have a question and it might seem silly but if
I were to put the serama in with my silkies would
the roo try and breed with the silkies or is this not
possible because he would be to small?
I can just see me trying to hatch silkie eggs and
be like what the???????? LOL!

No I am dead serious! I have a buff braham hen who is a medium sized bird but far bigger then my silkies and the serama roosters have mounted her succesfully on more then one occasion
