Love it!!

Lol this is what we want to do with Zephyr! I trained my RIR to do this. He isn't too impressed with it, he'd rather just walk beside me - which he does pretty well - but I feel safer with the harness on when we are out on the street. Yep, it gets me lots of crazy looks

Try walking with a line of ducklings behind you and see what looks you get. I had 12 following me at once around the block. 5 were goslings and the rest were ducks.

I can only imagine! Sounds adorable. My kids refuse to acknowledge I am their Mother when I'm out walking my chickens. They say it makes me look nuts. There are worse things

I know! Tell me about it!!! The first hatch last year - all 3 eggs were pullets. This year, only 3 roosters - so far - out of 14. I don't know lol

Hi ZooMummzy! After seeing that post with the harness and you saying your gonna try it, I am with ya! I am gonna try this on my roo Pharow as he loves to be handled. I will also try my 2 month old Beep as she too likes being handled. Please post pictures of Zepher when you get her (sorry the gender didn't turn out right) useing the harness. Kisses to Zepher!

There is a BYC member that has a roo named Bo and he uses a harness on his rooster and puts him in the basket of his bike and they go round. HEY, we could make a contest of this maybe??????

My Peepers used to ride in the basket of my bike. She would also steal my sandwiches, the entire sandwich, and would sit on my shoulder while i walked around town. She was my very first chicken.

Lol I think that is a great idea. I take my RIR rooster on car rides into town, to pick up the kids at school and to the feed store. Talk about crazy looks as I drive through town with a rooster

Hi there! Nah, no worries about the gender. I actually knew he was a he from the minute he hatched. Not sure why, just a feeling. I have been able to sex almost all my chicks that way - gut feeling. Only been wrong about 4 times in 3 years. I'll give the kisses right now! He's sitting here looking at me through the bars of his cage saying "are you gonna open it or what?" LOL
