I live in town too and I already have roosters outside - they live in the garage overnight till the afternoons - but all my Serama roosters will live inside. Hopefully that will go well

I live in a county where they only allow the max of 4 chickens per household, I have 20 seramas and 8 of them are roosters. I built a few noise reduction enclosures with sand boxes in them to house my roosters so their early morning crow wont be as loud as they are in an open cage and I have not heard any complaints from my neighbor yet.

Behind my bbred oegb are couple of my enclosures.

ZooMummzy, you should spoil Zephyr cuz I got a feeling that he will look good when he matures.

This is my spoiled brat Brownie at 3 months, as you can see his saddles and hackles start to grow. He is my niece's favorite and he looks much better then all my boys when they were 3 months.

Thanks poniesnchicks, they are the offspring of my cocoapop x silver ginger pair I got from Jerry S. in LA. I am doing the brother x sister to see if I can lock up the cocoapop color as serama breeders are pushing for variety color standard.

man that boy is getting better and better as weeks goes on i hope the parent do get me one or two like that boy of yours im keeping my finger cross if anything joey lol

LAseramas KP, you will get some good ones out of that pair. I got 4 (3 cockerels and 1 hen) good ones out of 17 hatched from them. The 3 months old cockerel will be the shire for my laced cocoapop project. I think he will be the same as his dad when he matures except for better lacing on the breast which is what I like to see on my birds. Now you know why I do not want to sell him regardless of what the offers for him are.

whats up with his comb?

Since he was the smallest of the rooster in group, he got peck on by others. I was glad it did not turn out that bad.
