I wish I had the money right now...they are beautiful and I just tossed my last frizzled egg from the incubator

Out of over 100 eggs, not one of the frizzled made it. Fingers crossed for a few booted this weekend. I hope the mottled hen Cloverleaf is getting from me turns out as nice as yours. So far the markings are very similar and she is small in stature with a good tail.

I'm wishing I had known enough to put sand in my runs when we built the coop 2 years ago. I have I don't know how many feet of muck right now from the weather. It is going to be a huge job to replace it all but I know I will be happier next winter! I'm just wondering about the dust factor for the inside pens....anything I can do to cut down on that would be great!

Here's a couple more of my serama babies.

This is a sweet, sweet girl. When I take the top of the brooder off, the jumps onto the waterer and waits calmly to be picked up. If I take someone else out, she's been known to throw herself at the top of the brooder until she's picked up.

This is the guy I'm likely keeping--he's a big boy at 10oz, they'll be 7 weeks old tomorrow.

I believe both YB and austin are SCNA forum members....so I'd take this as a friendly jab or sarcasm

Yes, but LAseramas KP is not. With his broken English and bad grammar I'm not even sure what he is saying, but it does sound derogatory.

Oops, I thought it was between YP and austin, sorry. But it still seems like these two know each other.

Thanks, the only other hen I got looks just like her, but with less black.

Shelly, we both know each other and we have no ill feeling toward one another. Austin always give me his honest opions and solutions on my birds and how to improve my flock.

What I wrote ( Silkied, frizzled and booted will never be my cup of tea but that smooth mottled hen is a beauty. If I have room I will take her in a heart beat.) was my personal preference on other types of serama and by no mean of taking a jab or being sarcasm at Austin and/or his birds.
