Here are some pictures of my Seramas they would not pose for me last night. I do not know what you call the colors. Does anyone know if there is a listing of the Serama colors?

You can get Serama books by Sigrid through Jerry on SCNA...if there are any left. Her new one, The Serama Colours is $38.00.

The colors that we are working on to set for the standard follow the recognized colors for OEGB. I've not heard anything about any 'new' colors in the works.

ETA: the 2nd looks like a black-tailed buff and the first looks similar to a gold duckwing but not exactly like a GD.

I think this chick is silkied since it's feathers are different than all of my others. It came from eggs I purchased from Pearly Sue.

the half black/half yellow chicks and 1 striped chick came from eggs from Pearly Sue. I highly reccomend buying eggs from her. She is Awesome! I ended up with a total of 6 chicks from her eggs. The yellow chicks and brown chick were hatched from Revolutionmama eggs bought on ebay.

This older batch was hatched from some of my own eggs from size a hens and some eggs from a man in Campbelton TX

Help me please, first time Serama hatcher here.......do Serama eggs need to go into lockdown earlier than other eggs?

I have a batch in the incubator due on Sunday and was prepared to lock down tomorrow, but just happened to come across a bit of info I was unaware of in another thread that mentioned Seramas typically hatch on day 19?

I've just plugged in my hatcher and need to know if I should put them in there as soon as it's up to temp & humidity levels needed!

Thanks so much!

I lockdown my Serama eggs on day 17, in preparation for hatch on day 19. Don't be surprised if they don't hatch on day 19...however, it's best to be prepared. Mine typically hatch on day 20. Good luck!!!
