WOW, this is like a Where's Waldo picture...there ARE 3 pigeons in there... -OR- could they be a new secret strain of serama that Jerry is producing? Combless?

I wasn't sure where to ask this, but I figured the malaysian serama thread would be best.

Are there people in the states that breed the dragon type serama?

I really like that body type. Preferably a frizzled dragon type serama.

Does anyone breed those?

If I remember what the dragon type is exactly, they would be the ones referred to as 'malaysian' serama. The others (apple and ball) are called 'american' serama.

I had a surprise today. I was looking at the babies on the porch, they are with 2 silkie/cochin mix hens. 3 of their babies are Serama from my birds. One of the chicks looked 'weird' but I couldn't exactly pinpoint what was wrong with it. It has odd coloring (black wings w/ white body), but that wasn't quite it. Then it dawned on me...it's a SILKIE!

Yes, I keep my pigeons and Serama separated, I don't need any pigamas

This little fella is a surprise since all my birds are hard-feathered. As far as I know, all the birds mine came from were hard-feathered, so this gene must come from way back...unless it's from the pair a friend gave me? I don't know their background.
