Regarding posing...I noticed that when I picked up a Silkie and brought her to the Serama pen, all of the Serama cockerels struck a pose. The next time I take pics of mine, I'm taking a strange chicken with me.

Now I need to get some pics of my 3 Sermas. They are nothing special, compared to some of those on this thread, but I adore them.
I'm hoping to have the chance of hatching more eggs next year.
I have a friends' daughter psyched about raising this breed for 4H next year - and I've only been a chicken head since this Spring. Talk about the blind leading the blind - she thinks I know so much about chooks but almost all I've learned is thanks to BYC!

Is Jerry S on BYC? I'm hoping next year he will still offer breeding pairs to 4Hers so she can get started with the best stock around (IMO).
