Thank you for the response. I am going to purchase a few collapsible wire cages from Keipper Cooping: a big one for breeding, and a small one for show conditioning. I am hoping to get a pair this fall, and winter over in a stall we made with a heat lamp.

Heres my new girl. I named her Sugar Plum

Im so bored of our line's colors, lol.. its like 100 variations of the same colors.
This is from a bird from Jerry.. we are testing to see what she produces
and if we can add new blood to the line!

Have you named her yet? Or waiting to make sure its a she?

Lisa.. I kept thinking after a minute that your pictures looked a bit weird. That something was off.. like it was a picture from an earlier time or something...
I just realized its because its GREEN and you have GRASS!! Last time we had green grass it was June or July. Its so different from here, lol
Ill have to post a picture of my dead brown farm for comparison.

You should let her eat and scratch and enjoy some of that greenery, its been a long time since she's seen anything green. Make sure she has some grit to be safe! I give it to them when feeding sometimes, but its been a couple of weeks or so.

Sugar Plum has lots of brothers and sisters and cousins here that want to come live with anyone who has some greenery. Come on down to my Kentucky Desert Farm and pick out some birds to take home.
Man, They would be jealous if they saw this picture.
