I have two hens to sell, as well as a garage full of cockerels! There's boys that I call "Lite Brite" colored, some buff boys, a buff mottled, and a silkied. PM me and I can take pics.

Hi all,

I finally made it to MN a couple of weeks ago. And sadly, the acclimation process hasn't went well for some of my birds. I lost the one and only frizzled pullet that I'd gotten from Jerry earlier this year, gosh she was a dandy. I was against her at first (admired from afar the frizzleds but wasn't sure about taking them on) but admittedly, she quickly went to the top of my favs list. Jerry's fresh out of frizzled girls right now until Spring. So, I am wondering if anyone has available a nice pullet/hen or two, hopefully raised in a colder climate, that would more easily acclimate to MN.

Drop me a PM or email if you have any spare frizzled girls.

Thanks,
Julie

PS, I'd be willing to do a serama swap as well. I have a few smooth and silkieds I could trade for if interested.

Hi Julie! Welcome to this frigid state

I have yet to see or hear of any breeders here who have frizzled seramas, not to say there isn't some out there possibly but I haven't seen any. There isn't much out there now as far as seramas go. All I have to offer is a cockrel whom I think is gonna finish out a very big boy. Marilyn in winthrop mn may have something available for swap or what have you. Gimme a holler if you'd like and I can send you a link to her site.

"Light Bright" color is really really pretty!!!!
(And the best name for a color ever!) Liz has some great birds. I was just drooling over some of them this weekend!

Muddyhorse--hope your birds get in soon.. I think that my DH picked up mine today while I was in school! Going home now to see and hope my new pet pig didnt get to muddy now that we finally got some rain today. She comes in the house in the evenings. Might be a first for me.. giving Piggy a bath!

She stays in the house!?!?!? With the horses and goats, or in the next room?

LOL
The horses only come in the house during parties. Or if they are loose in the yard and follow me in the open door because I have grocery bags.

The goats only come in if you leave the door open and are not there, because they are sneaky.

The chickens come in EVERY time one of the kids leaves the kitchen door open, because we keep the dog food in there and they like to run in and get a piece and run out.

The pig goes with the Call Ducks in the big dog kennel during the day so she can root around, but at night she comes into her hay filled pen with her baby blanket so she stays cozy.

They are never all in the house at the same time, hee hee.
