Yes, I did keep a chocolate, actually I have 2 frizzled chocolates, but they are not completely solid in color, that's what I'm working towards...I won't have too many eggs from these two boys for the winter hatches, their girls have not been cooperating (between fighting broodiness and getting used to the very cold temps we've had), but I'm sure we can work something out! I am sooo short on quality black girls, that I'm going to have to rotate them between roos - I have one blue, one barred, 2 chocolates, and a black frizzled silkied, all needing small, typey black girls! I feel like I'm "pimping" them out!! (Just call me "Madam"!)
Bailey and I both seem to have the same color projects in progress, so it should be fun to see what the two of us wind up with!

Juliette, why do I think that even working towards the same goals, we will both end up with something entirely different! I have about 20 eggs hatching in the next couple weeks, and I can't wait to see if they chicks are at all what they're "supposed" to be. I fully expect to get some surprises.
Bailey, you KNOW you can't count on ANYTHING with seramas, not until their genes are consolidated a little more!
I'm looking forward to seeing what we both come up with...what FUN!
