Of the 15 Serama eggs I purchased and picked up (somewhat) locally, 13 went into lockdown. Of those, TWELVE hatched (well, okay, I'll admit to helping 3 hatch....a little....okay, a lot....)
And here are eleven of them (the twelfth was still in the incubator recovering from being rescued)
Thanks all, I finally did what I should have to start with and just asked Jerry. I hate to bother him with little stuff but this is a chick hatched from an egg he sent. As usual, he was very prompt and knew exactly. He's a cockerel, possibly the sweetest temperament of any I've had. His color is "Copper". I can't wait to see how he finishes out. Definitely a keeper.....but aren't they all?
Gonna need a pullet for him now, geez <snickering>
Austin, gorgeous! Love the Frosted Flakes color and the type is soo nice.
Egg #18 pipped and zipping (Day 19!)....only 18 more Serama eggs to go (and 13 non-Seramas in the incubator and 4 under a broody). It's gonna be a busy Sunday and Monday!
My humidity was way up at 75%, now down to 65%. I hate LG's
