HI,
I am to excited not to share my news with someone..............
I was pretty disappointed at having two 0 hatches.......
Anyway..found Seramas in my area..Purchased 4, 4/12 month old pullets and she gave me three roo's because she was overloaded with them.
I will post pic's as soon as I can.
they are soooooo beauiful......One presented me with an egg yesterday.couldn't believe it.
I am amazed at how calm they are.....I take each one out everyday and carry them around so they get use to being handled.
I am still going to try hatching again but am going to run a hatch from my layer flock to figure out if it is something I am doing or the eggs are just having a bad time in transportation.

I'm so glad to hear from you! I didn't know how close you were. I went in to work in surgery at 0600 this morning and have been told new information just about every hour regarding whether or not I needed to go to Joplin to help out at the hospital there. I'm watching the CBS World News about it right now

Our hospital sent 2 ambulances and several ER staff last night and I was to go help today but couldn't be spared today. I'm off work tomorrow and on standby to go help if needed. I have advanced cardiac and advanced pediatric life support certifications and wish I could be there to work but in reality, there is a whole hospital full of staff with no hospital there to work in so I would say Freeman Hosp will have plenty of nursing and medical help.

It could have just as easily been us here and I am so thankful.

Just wanted to share a couple more pictures taken today of my lovely boy Leonardo "LJ". He got a new girlfriend yesterday along with a new house. So far everyone seems to be settling in like they have always been together.

These are just him hanging out with the girls, he also has a bit of a boo boo on his comb from someone in the juvi pen before I moved him. I wish I could capture him when he is really standing up as he is really looking good, I just stink with camera's.
