when judging the ABA accepted white, they must have yellow shank and NO white in LOBES, this is a DQ any other variety-color serama is judged on conformation, as you are looking at a" black and white photo." Some breeders sutch as my self are trying to eliminate the dark shank and the white in the lobes for future generations. Green shanks is hard to mask you can cover it with yellow but several generations down the line, it may pop up, so selecting correct everything while establishing your flock now is important, now if you breed your bird with egggcelent type and green legs and get a chick that is of equal type and no green legs, use that one to move forward on your breeding program with.. To each its own, your birds are very nice and dont let anyone tell you different!!.. When we are moving forward and looking for ABA acceptance, start to choose your breeding stock with correct shanks and conformation, If you start with the correct and work on type with correct shank and lobes it makes the journey a bit easier..
