I know!! He isn't a Daddy this time around - Dina's eggs start but don't finish. I'm thinking they might be too small? Not sure, but I won't give up. My hen Desdemona has been broody - nasty broody lol - for a few days now so I gave in and just stuck one of Zephyr's under her as well as one of Dusty's and Fawn's (my rooster Napoleon just "loves" her - constantly lol), my hens from Juliette, under her. I'm going to let her do the work this time around while I enjoy these babies!

J/K I know that's too far. I'm just feeling so chickerific right now, two in the brooder, 11 in the 'bator... I'm way too excited...

However...., I'm not usually a pessimist, but I have a lurking grey cloud feeling that my luck is "thin" right now...and that I'm going to be disappointed. So even if I have bad luck, is 1 out of 11 eggs too much to ask for?

Lol yeah the OR/CA border. I'm pretty sure my husband would change the locks on all the doors if I said I was delivering chicks to central CA

and when I got home, the nice little men in white coats would be waiting for me!

And have faith...you will get chicks
