Last week I let Toughnut, my Serama boy out in the yard to scratch around a bit before his bedtime and first the he did was run over to my biggest Coronation Sussex roo and beat the tar out of him!

No kidding!! I so wish I would have had that on film!

He had to fly up at least 2 ft to attack the big rooster...one thing is for sure, it scared the heck out of my CS rooster!! He jumped 6 feet sideways and ran to the other side of the yard and hid behind his lady friends!

I attached a few pictures of him after his 'daring feat' against the big intruders...and a "few" other cute pictures of him. Hope you enjoy~

Also, what color would he be considered?

Gypsy is scared of him too..

Cool story!!
He looks similar to what is called "spangled" for OEGB, so perhaps that would be a good color desription?

I have some.....too bad you are so far away and it is so HOT!!!!

I'm sure they will still be around after the summer heat dies down....just in case. If you want some more eggs, let me know. The girls are laying really well now, and I'll cut you a deal. I hate that your hatch didn't go as well as you wanted. It is SOOOO hard to hatch these little ones, even from just the barn to the house!

Hi.................
I am as excited as a little kid this morning so wanted to share.
First, some of you are aware I had been on a 0 hatch run for a bit.and really discouraged.
So....candled this morning prior to lock down.AND THE EGGS CHIRPED AT ME......................

Can you believe those little guys................
Thought I was losing my mind or hearing from the brooder so I went in the other room,
held each egg to my ear, and they talked to me..........Amazing.............
Bet I have baies in the morning................
