Male and female Phoenix?

I think they hatched in October? Maybe November? Trying to remember, it was after fair, but before our first frost because they kept getting into my NN cockerel's pen by accident when they were still a week and under. So between 6 and 8 months I believe
It's a pullet, in my opinion. She has very unusual coloring, but at that age you'd be seeing more male characteristics if it was a boy. The long tail gene seems to cause these anomalies sometimes.

Well I have three that are full siblings in this group. The main one here, the brother and then a pure white one that is definitely a little pullet. All three came from the same pair of pheonixes.

The thing that's throwing me and my mom off are mainly the pointed saddle feathers

I can try tonight, they don't really show themselves. They're the same size as the round feathers, so you really only see them when your looking closely
Could be a damaged ovary I guess. It's definitely a pullet though. How old is she exactly?

Honestly I'm not sure anymore. I thought they were 6-8 months, but I juat went looking for a more exact age and have this picture from September 19th on a different post where it said they were about 8 week, which would make them about 11 months

Huh. Very odd.

Well I'm positive she's a "she". Can't explain the weird saddles or lack of laying. Though I'm not terribly familiar with Phoenix maturity rate.
