Male and female Phoenix?

I'm going with female.
It's a Phoenix why are we not seeing a pic with the tail?
 
Can you post a full body photo of the side profile? Hens and roosters have different postures.

If you don't know if this creature is laying eggs, why don't you confine "it" to a crate for a couple days and see if an egg appears. If an egg is produced, that would be hard evidence that no one can dispute.

The tail is the same length as my better quality females, not as long as her brother. I'll get a picture today, I didn't get an alert about more posts yesterday for some reason

My crate is currently being taken by a broody and I only have small cat carriers for transport. I might try the food coloring though and see if I end up with any purple eggs
 
Here's some more of her standing (I included her brother too). I did notice she holds her tail up higher than other females in the Phoenix flock they came from.

I think they hatched in October? Maybe November? Trying to remember, it was after fair, but before our first frost because they kept getting into my NN cockerel's pen by accident when they were still a week and under. So between 6 and 8 months I believe
