Male black sexlinks and female rhode island red = what??????

what would a black sex links male and rhode island red female make? woul it just be a mix of both?

Well, if a black sex link is actually half rhode island and your hen is really full rhode island, then a good portion of them will be red. A few males may turn be barred like the dad, if i understand the sex linking. And a few hens will be blackish. With some other mixes included.

Basically you'll end up with a lot of mixed up colored birds, hardy dual purpose looking and probably brown egg layers.
