Male duck with ducklings

I have one male and two female ducks. Both ducks went broody at the same time. My male duck has always been very kind to his ladies(i orginally was going to get more after hearing how males can be aggressive) but he was horrible to the new females i tried introducing to the flock! Hes fine with his two but any others hes been a bully. My concern is, will he attack his ladies ducklings once they hatch? Should i seperate them?

I would separate them just because I have had Guineas and chickens hatch babies and the males killed most of them. But I have not had ducklings around any other ducks then other ducklings. So I don't know

keep the girls and the babies seperate until the babies are like 6 weeks old. then, find some nice homes for the male ducklings. slowly (where he can see but not touch) introtuce him to the female ducklings
