Just wondering if anyone knows.. the bird in the first two pics has a much larger comb then the bird in the second two pics.. I got my chicks at the same time and they are now about 4 weeks. Why is the comb on JUST ONE much larger than the combs on the rest? Also, this one bird is lighter..

Your bird is a cockerel. BR cockerels will have much lighter barring and larger combs than pullets.

****.... surely didn't want that answer, but that is what I suspected! He is much more aggressive with me so far too.. I move them to an outdoor pen every day, and at night bring them back to the coop.. he puts up such a fuss!

I have found a home for the barred rock cockeral... he took two hens with him! I couldn't stand the thought of him being alone.
