Can anyone tell me if this is a hen or rooster please?

If they are both 12 weeks old, it is very likely that they are cockerels. That's a lot of comb for birds that young. Male specific feathering should appear soon.

I have No experience with auracanas (& am horrible at sexing pea comb varieties) but they look like cockrels to me.

That’s an araucana mix, definitely not purebred. It has a walnut comb (pea x rose) and lacks a crest.

Thanks for the replies. I thought they were cockerels as are so much redder than the hens - no crowing yet though. Fingers crossed that’s correct as they are off to their new home
