Male or Female Please

We really want to keep this lovely brown chicken. He looks like a boy though so he will likely have to leave us. Can anyone see something in him to make him a her?

Asking about the dark brown bird yes. All shots with the dark brown bird in are of the same bird. The light brown one is a female Wheaten Marans.

Oh dear. Large legs, reddening comb, stance all add up to being male.

Maybe a rooster. I have chicks the same age and none of them look that developed.

I'm not seeing any pointy hackle or saddle feathers. I think it could be a tom girl/pullet
